Yes! Council approval is required for most external signs.  And this is where Signs By Knight can really help.  We have a long-term working arrangement with many councils and can assist you in gaining approval for your sign.

Artwork can be accepted in many formats via: email (10 meg maximum), CD, DVD, and USB Stick. Cut ready artwork for vinyl cutting must be supplied in a vector format with any fonts converted to curves or outlines. Preferred cut ready formats include: Illustrator.ai: Coreldraw.cdr: eps

Other formats we can accept: Photoshop.psd: Acrobat.pdf: jpg: tif: bmp

For full colour printing we accept most graphic formats such as .jpg, .gif, .tif, .eps, .ai, and most bitmap or vector formats. We use PC format. Please note that we cannot guarantee your file will successfully import. A colour proof or PDF for visual reference should be included. Also you may contact us for our FTP web address for uploading large files 

In cases where file formats cannot be used Signs By Knight can re-create your logo for a small design fee.

We will supply and install signage for our customers pretty much anywhere. Depending on the size of the installation, it may be more economical to send the signage to our network of signmakers to install. But generally we install all the signage we manufacture.

We also do interstate work and have sent signage overseas.

Generally we do not supply artwork for quotation purposes. The cost of producting artwork in most cases in built into the cost of manufacturing your signage. If you dont have artwork and require this for prior approval, we can either charge separately for the artwork costs and deduct this from the manufacture costs once completed. Or provide us with an order to proceed the signage and we start the artwork process for your approval. All artwork and concepts are the sole property of SIGNS BY KNIGHT under copyright law, untill the services are paid in full.
